This position brings specialized skills to collect, monitor and interpret data, such as vibration, thermograph and lube oil data, to maintain plant's availability. The technician collects and interprets data from multiple sources using different diagnostic equipment and using a variety of condition based diagnostics techniques. The technician will determine the mechanical condition of rotating and static equipment and highlight areas for improvement

To carrying out all daily mechanical maintenance activities associated with RasGas Plant Facilities. Includes preventive, predictive and breakdown maintenance in all machinery/ rotating equipment.

Provide business process and financial systems expertise for the continuous review and improvement of the integrated RasGas financial systems. Execute issue management, business process analysis and systems development activity and systems development activity for the Finance Group in the context of the overall RasGas systems management process. Process support, training and expert advice to the users of the Financial systems.

Plans, supervises, and coordinates all Inspection activities on the onshore/offshore process facilities. Utilizes conventional N. D. T. Techniques and specialist non-intrusive inspection techniques to monitor plant condition and assess the plant integrity. Provides assurance, through established Management procedures, that the onshore facilities meet the requirements for continued safe operation.
                                                                                                                             

Ensure maintenance programs for control systems at RasGas onshore RasGas facilities are safely executed to achieve targeted levels of facilities availability & reliability, continuously monitor health of control systems and trouble shoot & resolve control problems for smooth & efficient plant operation. Respond to plant trips supporting operations for quick identification of causes & start up and collect relevant data for subsequent analysis.     

To provide materials planning, procurement, and technical support to the Shutdown Group for materials related activities associated with the various Plant Shutdowns.         

To deliver cost effective business processes, systems, applications and solutions to the Operations Group in general and to Maintenance Department in particular, to meet Company's Objectives and Strategies for Optimum Asset Performance Management.  

Responsible for providing vision and leadership to establish and develop sound work practices and to implement appropriate procedures to ensure smooth progression of all Maintenance works;  Advice in the development of Maintenance Metrics to drive the pursuit of Quality; Champion the implementation of Maintenance, Reliability & Integrity Best Practices;  Through RasGas OMT  process, manage risk based work selection process, FIMS exception reporting etcWork in close liaison with CMC Superintendents to enforce Safety and Quality compliance; eduacate and train all planning and scheduling staff with world class norms in planning
                                       

To provide planning and system support for Shutdown activities through close liaison with the Shutdown Group, Maintenance and Operations personnel. Leads planning group during shutdown preparations and execution.

Assist the section manager in Planning, developing and managing the annual training plan and budget. Track and report achievements against targets and follow-up remidal measures where required.Develop, plan and implement new projects as assigned by section manager. This position will take the full ownership of the section related assigned projects and will be responsible for developing the proposal, followup on approvals and implementing and rollout of the projects and hand it over to the concerned teams.Manage internal studies, surveys, benchmarks and other continuous improvement projects to improve the service delivery of the Competency Assurance and Training Section.

Directs, manages and stewards all short term training related to the operations group.Manages initial induction of Qatari Trainees coming for WPL and all other support training programs for Qatari National trainees' undergoing TOPS/MTTP, as requested by the Operations Training team.Identifies, develops and implements vendor training, Simulator Trainig to meet the training requirements of Operations.Manages all English Language training programs, internal and external, for national operators.Assesses the effectiveness of programs and provides leadership for continuous improvement in the design, development and delivery of programs to ensure that they fully meet the needs and job requirements of the company. 

To provide Contracts Engineering to the Subsurface Group in the Procurement of all necessary Goods and Services at all levels from critical local Purchase/Service Orders, valued in the hundreds of US$, to major international contracts per drilling project.
