Role

Validate and ensure new product meet predefined requirements & specifications
(including customer specifications)


To develop manufacturing and test procedures for new product and provide training
to process engineers/suppliers/ manufacturing


To Design, document, verify, validate and implement assembly /test tools/ test
benches


Ensure manufacturablity of new products and improve Design for Manufacturability
(DFM) with Design engineering


Active process and product improvement request to design engineering

Ensure high quality of products prior to Product transfer

Ensure accuracy of technical BOM in ERP system for each project


Perform root cause analysis for highly technical quality issues reported from field for
NPI products


Develop Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis


Any other adhoc assignment according to business needs.

Qualifications

Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related
technical discipline.


Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience in mechatronic or automation field.
Experienced in 2D and 3D CAD applications.


Knowledge on standard electro-mechanical parts, different machining processes,
fabrication materials and treatments selections.


Experience in Process Failure Mode and Effects Analyses will be added advantage

 

Strong analytical skills, critical thinking, innovative, out of the box problem solving


Effective verbal and written communication skills, able to clearly convey information
and ideas.


Ability to adapt on different environments and work based on priorities


Ability to work under high pressure & manage conflicts


Strong commitment to learning and continuous improvement.


Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
