The role will require the combination of business analysis and application
administration skills. The person will support the business’ teams and systems with
focus on ERP domain knowledge and browser based applications/databases.
Through the use of both business and technical skills, command of systems analysis
and management best practice principles, and a desire to leverage and improve
systems/controls through work with the business to enhance productivity and results.
Under limited supervision, work with stakeholders from all departments and all
company locations on documenting business processes, analysis, and reporting. In
addition, the individual will provide training classes to users and provide level one
support for system issues as required
Provide support for IT systems users while adhering to IT procedures and policies.
Provide level one troubleshooting on user support calls for systems supported.
Serve as support person/user contact for IT systems. Answer questions, assist users
with simple work or troubleshoot and resolve system or process problems. Escalate
appropriately issues and opportunities for improvement.
Provide training seminars to new hires and assist in training new processes to end
Model the business process to create a complete picture of work-flows and
processes for the ERP and other IT systems. Assist and define/analyze the business
process and identify problems or constraints. Participate in cross-functional business
process re-engineering teams and continuous improvement efforts.
Review and analyze new user requests and document findings.
Create and document new functional requirements as directed. Verify with user
representatives/stakeholders that process models accurately reflect business needs.
Work frequently with end-users to establish “best practices”.
Participate in meetings with departments such as sales, engineering, manufacturing,
accounting, and supply chain to evaluate current and future requirements
Provide tier two support for all in-house developed browser based applications
including managing, monitoring, and maintaining systems.
Responsible for user based application installs and configurations.
Monitor/measure stability and performance of systems.
Troubleshoot and resolve system/application issues.
Support and troubleshoot application and infrastructure problems while dealing with
data center class application delivery and business continuity plans for the global
Lead the research into application upgrades or maintenance issues.
Maintain and coordinate backups and disaster recovery plans for key apps and

Continuously enhance professional and technical knowledge, contribute to team
effort, and promote end-user confidence in order to provide quality end-user support.
Responsible for interfacing with IT Team to ensure applications and security patches
are applied appropriately and timely.
Conduct testing of new applications, systems and services.
Communicates technical issues with internal and external clients.
Participate in long and short range technology and application planning.
BS or BA in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration,
Mathematics or a directly related field—equivalent combination of education and
experience may be substituted for a degree.
Three years of current, professional level experience maintaining enterprise
applications and databases.
A minimum of three years’ experience with ERP/MRP business systems in a
manufacturing environment; preferably low volume high mix. Requires experience
and familiarity with and a background that includes materials resource planning
business process, reporting, training and user support.
Must have proven experience to train and work effectively with users from multiple
department or functions.
Experience in an organization operating in a global environment highly desirable.
Knowledge of the principles of ERP business systems processes and reporting for
Basic technical knowledge in most functions of ERP solutions.
Ability to document, analyze and communicate business systems and processes.
Ability to train individual and groups of users to effectively use systems.
Skill in effectively listening, analyzing and resolving end-user questions and end-user
Customer service focused with proficient English written and verbal communication

Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with a wide range of
people in a diverse environment.
Ability to work in a team environment to analyze, recommend, design and deliver
solutions that solve problems in support of the business.
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize and deliver solutions in a

Job Conditions/Physical Demands:
Office environment. Ability to sit for prolonged periods at desk, use computer
keyboard; minimal exertion.
